Flip_champion's Proper Introduction

Postby flip_champion » Sat Feb 27, 2010 8:00 am

Hey guys, it's been a couple of days since I joined this Pokemon game. As many of you have noticed, my name is flip_champion. I've been playing for a couple of days - but it seems that this game is not that big of a difference from an old Pokemon game site I used to play a whole lot (pokemoncrater). Many of you might know me from that old game, - if not - I hope I get to know you guys.

For those of you who used to play Pokemoncrater, you may remember me leading a charity group called the Chain Gang which donates level 100 armies of Pokemon to many USERS, courtesy of myself and my old partners. Unfortunately, I just started out myself - so I'm still a little bit shakey if I can start it up again and help our new users to get a feel of the game (for I myself, am still quite new and do NOT have that much Pokemon).

Well - that pretty much describes me. I'm generous and helpful towards those who need help and I welcome those who are willing to help me help others. (I hope that made sense hahaha). I'm very friendly and I get along with people great. So feel free to say hello to me in the game OR here in the forums.
If you are bored and want to read a created Pokemon Saga by me - come visit the Fan-fic section of the forum and read What Lies Ahead. Link is shown below.

Welcome to deluge, i dont know you from crater but thats probably cause i just played the game and never used the chat back then.

My personal opinion is that giving away free stuff to new people isnt a good idea, they all get lazy and just beg for more. We all got it ourselfs its not exactly hard so they can do it themselfs as well, thats whats the sense of the game, doesnt it get boring when you get high lvls without any work? Just my opinion ;).

I was sndp_kmth there(on crater forums, and 'Run@way' ingame), and I remember donating pokes to the 'Chain Gang' and teaching attacks to their pokes, If I'm not wrong :o

Well, the problem here is scammers use the 'I will give you a lvl 100 pokemon' to get people's passwords or get people to change their email. While players actually giving away pokes to users isn't a problem, it increases people trust in anyone who says they'll give a free lvl 100 pokemon. You'd think people must have become immune to such silly tricks, it keeps happening everyday :(

While we don't allow it in the chat, I guess you could give it a try in the forums since I haven't seen any scamming here of late.

Thanks for the welcome. :) Well - it's all good. In the crater forum, I'm mostly known for my kindness and helpful nature anyhoo ~

Well, to each his own I guess. At first, I just saw it as a way to help people get that jump start. Actually, I didn't find that problem at all when I started the Chain Gang in Pokemoncrater. In fact, they were actually thrilled and thankful that they had a mass army of lvl 100 and actually got into the game more due to the Legendary Craze (and I can still see lots of peepz still are in the Trade Thread). But pretty much they were thankful due to the fact that it didn't take long for them to start searching for their rare pokemon, level their own lowbie pokemon, and defeat all the gym leaders/elite 4s now that they had that little boost of help.

Well - I'm glad someone here remembers the Chain Gang in Pokemoncrater. Hah >.< Although I don't quite remember you by memory, I'm certain that you DID donate and modify the Pokemon's attacks and such. Thanks for doing that btw.

Oh for sure, I WAS aware of that as well when Crater was still up and running. People were skepticle about that group I started as well, saying if it was really true or NOT ~ or if I scammed them and that's how I got my thousands and thousands of lvl 100 Pokemon. Even the admins were a bit curious of as to why I would start such a peculiar group. But I got their trust and soon enough - it was up and alive and I started giving out random lvl 100s. But since I don't play as much as I used to due to lots of things, I'm not sure if I can get it running once more. Perhaps when my schedule opens up...
